As a small family owned company your project will be bid, designed and managed by Joe, one of our managing partners. You’ll know exactly who to call when you have questions about your project.

Who will handle the design of my project?


Halm and Perkins has been in business for over 35 years. Jim Halm, one of our original founders, is still involved in the business. In the past decade Jim’s daughter and son in-law Joe have taken over the day to day operations and continued on the Halm and Perkins legacy of creating beautiful custom spaces in the Lansing area.

Yes, we have three licensed builders currently on staff.

Are You Licensed?


Yes - the Janus Insurance Agency based in Williamston handles all of our insurance needs.

Is Your Team Covered by a Certificate of Insurance?


At the beginning of the construction phase you will be introduced to the crew handling your project. Each crew member has been personally vetted and has been trained to respect your home and keep it clean during the duration of the project.
